The 2016Ringier Technology Innovation Awards - Plastic Industry is now open for applicationuntil January 22, 2016.

Only new products and solutions launched during 2015-2016 in the China market are eligible to enter the Awards selection process. The Awards consist of 11 categories: Plastics Raw Materials & Additives, Rubber/Elastomer Materials andAdditives^New, Injection molding, Extrusion & blow molding, Key component, Molds & Components, Measurement & Inspection, Auxiliary equipment, Automation, Recycling Machinery^New and other innovative products/technologies. The entry will close on January 22, 2016.
 

Following the Entry & Nomination Stage,the evaluation process combined of judge panel and online voting by end-users will take place from January 25 to January 29.

The judge panel consists of eight plastics industry experts, including:

Zheng Kai, VicePresident & Secretary-general,China Synthetic Resin Supply and Sales Association

Fu An, Council Chairman,Guangdong Plastics Industry Association

Wang Wenguang, Secretary-general, Shenzhen Polymer Industry Association

Yang Huidi, Secretary-general, Plastics Technology Cooperation Committee, CPPIA

Qian Yaoen, Vice President, China Plastic Machine Industry Association

Qin Jianwang,Secretary-general, Shanghai Plastics Industry Association

Liu Depu, Vice President and Secretary-general, Shanghai Die & Mould Trade Association

Chen Gengxin, Expert, Committee of experts of China Plastics Processing Industry Association

Winners will be announced at the award ceremony, which will be held inconjunction withPlastics & Rubber and Innovative Materials Application Summit 2016 on March17, 2016 in Shanghai, when all the winners, judges, industry professionals and media will be present.

In 2015, 38 innovative products won the prize including Borouge’s Family of Daplen^TM Solutions fromBorouge Sales and Marketing (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., ENDURANCE^TMHFDC-4201 SC EXP1 from Dow Chemical (China) Investment Co., Ltd.and New Stanyl Diablo HDT2700 from DSM Engineering Plastics.

The Ringier Technology Industry Awards Series have been established since 2006 and will cover 5 different industries this year. They are recognized as being the most honest, transparent and fairest of such Industry Awards in China. Nominations are open to all and the final selections are made by the panel of independent judges combined with online voting by end users. Simply put, the award cannot be bought!
