Industrial Laser Solutions China – the leading market magazine published by Ringier Trade Media – has recently announced the winners of the 2015 Ringier Technology Innovation Awards for the Laser Industry. Ringier Technology Innovation Awards are regarded as the most important awards in China’s laser industry. 35 winning companies featured their 37 innovative products and technologies across 6 categories: Lasers, Laser systems for production engineering, Laser system components, System peripherals of laser production engineering, Optical materials and components and 3D Printing.

The grand Awards ceremony and cocktail party was held at the Renaissance Shanghai Pudong Hotel on March 18, 2015. Winners shared their latest innovative technologies which drive development in China’s laser industry.

Mr. Michael R Hay, President of Ringier Trade Media, explains: ‘This event has been designed to drive innovation into China’s laser industry. As a celebratory platform, the purpose of the Awards are to encourage, acknowledge and reward those individuals and companies that have developed a new idea, a new methodology, a new product or a new technology for production efficiency, cost effectiveness, or user convenience, which results, for example, in energy saving and more responsible clean manufacturing.’

The panel of judges and market professionals who presented the Awards to winners included Mr. Zhang Qingmao, Vice Chaiman, Laer Processing Committee of China Optical Society，Prof. Rongshi Xiao, Beijing University of Technology，Mr. Maocai Wang, Vice Chaiman, Laer Processing Committee of China Optical Society.
