The global market for non-woven sanitary products is strongly emerging from the recession. In 2017, the worth of global market for non-woven sanitary products reached $68 billion, with an estimated value of $70 billion in 202O. Out of it, 45% was taken by baby diapers and 25% by women’s hygiene products. However, the fastest growing segments are adult incontinence supplies and household wipes, with a little bit dynamic, but still impressive growth.

Currently, Asia Pacific, Western Europe and North America are responsible for nearly 75% of global nonwoven hygiene products demand. Out of it, Asia-Pacific region hold 30% of market shares and it is the fastest growing one with about 7% annual growth rate.

As the largest producer of non-woven fabric, China has the complete non-woven fabric industry chain, which consists of nearly a thousand enterprises. In 2016, the production of non-woven fabrics in China reached 535.4 million tons, a year-on-year growth of 10.4%. Shandong, zhejiang, jiangsu, hubei and fujian are the main producing areas, accounting for 67% of total production.

The 14th ‘Nonwovens Technology Innovative Application Conference 2018’ will be held in September 2018 in Changzhou, China. It will continue to explore the crucial points in non-woven products manufacturing. The conference will create a communication technology platform for Asia-pacific non-woven products industry.
