Chen Ming, a native of Changzhou, Jiaosu Province, was born in March 1971, and acquired his Ph.D. in Shanghai Jiao Tong University, 1999. He is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering in Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Chairman of the Vehicle Recovery Technology Committee of Shanghai Society of Automobile Engineers. His academic research interesting is sustainable manufacturing. From year 2001, he has published 16 academic papers and 3 books. He was awarded the National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2004
