2016 Ringier Technology Innovation Awards-Plastics Industry winners announced

A five-month long search for the winners of the 2016 Ringier Technology Innovation Awards – Plastics Industry culminated with 35 awardees on March 17 in Shanghai, China. The awardees shared their big moments with the panel of judges, experts from industry associations and media representatives during the 11th anniversary of this prestigious award. This year, the awarding ceremony was held in conjunction with Plastics & Rubber and Innovative Materials Application Summit 2016 on March 17-18.
From the entries, 35 products under the various categories were finally nominated as winners by the independent panel of judges, as well as through online voting by plastics end-users. Awardees include: Shanghai Sunny Technology Co., Ltd., LANXESS Chemical (China) Co., Ltd., Dow Chemical Pacific (Singapore) Pte Ltd., Hairma Chemical (GZ) Ltd., Tederic Machinery Co.,Ltd., KraussMaffei Technologies GmbH, Haitian Plastics Machinery Group Co.,Ltd., Datacolor Trading (Shanghai) Co.,LTD., Sesotec China Co.,Ltd., TOMRA Sorting Recycling, GUANGZHOU 3E MACHINERY CO.,LTD., Dow Chemical (China) Investment Co., Ltd. and many others.
After five months of entry submission and nomination, close to 72 products from 67 companies were chosen for the final competition. Products cover 11 categories: Plastics Raw Materials & Additives, Rubber/Elastomer Materials and Additives, Injection Molding, Extrusion & Blow Molding, Key Component, Molds & Components, Measurement & Inspection, Auxiliary Equipment, Automation, Recycling Machinery and Other Innovative Products/Technologies.
Besides, we add a new category – “The Innovators of The year” to recognize an individual or a team of engineers or R&D who are behind some new technology, or product design or application. This individual or team has shown the courage, skill and creativity to push the boundary in their field. This year, the award was finally given to Zhejiang Jingcheng Mold Machinery Co.,Ltd. for the winning product “EVA photovoltaic automatic film die and feedblock”.
Honesty, fairness and transparency give Ringier Technology Innovation Awards a wider attention and national recognition over the years, according to Ringier Trade Media Limited, the organizer of this yearly event.
