2016 Ringier Technology Innovation Awards - Food and Beverage Industry Open for Nominations Now

2016 Ringier Technology Innovation Awards - Food and Beverage Industry, now call for entries until June 10, 2016. Only new or upgraded products and solutions launched during 2014-2016 in the China market are eligible to enter the Awards selection process.
In 2016, the Awards consist of 5 categories: Food & Beverage Ingredients (Nutraceuticals, Processing, Flavoring, Coloring, Preservation); Food & Beverage Packaging; Food & Beverage Processing; Food Safety (F&B Testing & Measurement) and Others.
Following the Entry & Nomination Stage, the evaluation process combined of judge panel and online voting by end-users will take place from June 24-July 8. Entries for each innovation Awards category are short-listed by the panel of judges. The public can vote for the winners via the official website or wechat platform "RingierFoodBeverage" of the Awards.
Worth to mention is that the specially established prize - “The Innovators of The Year” will also be presented this year. The new added award is aimed to recognize those who have made great innovative contributions to the food and beverage industry in R&D field. Only one winner whose product gain the most votes selected by the judging panel and online voting will be awarded the honor.
Winners will be announced at the Awards ceremony, which will be held in conjunction with Functional Beverage and Nutritious Food Summit 2016 on August 25 in Guangzhou, when all the winners, judges, end-users and media friends will be present.

Nominations are open to all and the final selections are made by the panel of independent judges combined with online voting by end users. Simply put, the awards cannot be bought!
In 2015, 25 innovative products, including: Laser-based Headspace Oxygen Analyzer from Shanghai Zhonglin M&E Equipment Co., Ltd., OPTIMASS 6400（EGM）from KROHNE Measurement Instruments (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., PacXpert™ Packaging Technology from Dow Chemical Pacific (Singapore) Co., Ltd. etc., were recognized as winners.
The Ringier Technology Industry Awards – Food and Beverage Industry is organized by Ringier Trade Media and China Food Manufacturing Journal Magazine. They are recognized as being the most honest, transparent and fairest of such Industry Awards in China. Since 2007, the awards have been successfully held for 9 years. The purpose of the Awards is to encourage, acknowledge and reward those individuals and companies who have introducedand developed a new idea, a new methodology, a new product or a new technology for manufacturing productionefficiency, cost effectiveness, user convenience, which might result in energy saving and more responsible clean manufacturingin the metalworking industry.
