THIXATROL® AS 8053 is a 100% active organic rheological additive. It is made of special organic acid and amine via amidation process and result in special crystalline structure. The final product is milled by specially micronized process to obtain finely divided powder form.

 

THIXATROL® AS 8053 provides high viscosity, thixotropy and thick layer sag control in high build systems that contain little solvent or are solvent-free. It is suitable for corrosion protective coatings, industrial coatings, adhesives and sealants.

 

This new generation rheological additive makes activation and operation easier. It can be activated at lower shear and room temperature condition to perform better initial sag control. The stability of performance after heating storage is also increased. THIXATROL® AS 8053 can be quickly activated without heating making sealant and paint manufacturing faster, easier and less expensive.
