TEGO® Foamex 812 is a new generation environment friendly water-based defoamer from Evonik Coating Additives business line. It’s a 100% active matter content defoamer with polyether modified polysiloxane technology. It offers an excellent balance between high defoaming efficiency and good compatibility.

As compared with traditional modified polysiloxane defoamers, TEGO® Foamex 812 match the increasing regulatory requirements much more better, such as SVHC free (based on Definition of SVHC mentioned on SDS in section 3),  biocide free, fulfills current IKEA standards, EU-Ecolabel 2014/312/EU, Blauer Engel DE-UZ-102/12a，Blauer Engel DE-UZ-12a, EU REACH etc. It also meets the requirements of various food contact regulations such as: FDA 21 CFR Compliance (4) 175.300, FDA 21 CFR Compliance (4) 176.170, FDA 21 CFR Compliance (4) 176.180.
