Bystronic`s KerfScan is not only for Nitrogen cutting, but it is also for oxygen cutting. Each part/contour is divided into subcontours, which are cut and scanned intermittently. If there is any slag residue inside the kerf, it emits a short light pulse. The sensitivity of scanning process can be set by customer. He can decide after which cutting length he wants to check kerf.
