Borouge’s family of Daplen™ solutions (EF261AIC, EF267AIC, EF292AIC, EG265HPC and EG299HPC) are designed with advanced recipe and manufacturing processing with low VOC and low odour. This ensures in-vehicle components/parts moulded from our compounded PP material emits very little VOC. All this in effort to fully comply with the Chinese national standard for air quality assessment of passenger cars, keeping within the limits of 8 hazardous substances. Our unique "5-step methodology" has proven to optimise VOC and odour reduction from plastics material improving the vehicle interior air quality. The “5-step methodology” is: raw material selection, recipe modification, processing optimisation, post treatment and injection moulding process optimisation.
