Patented and designed by Air Products, the BIP® purification technology includes a specially designed valve and built in purifier, eliminates the risks of external contamination to the cylinder while purifying the gas in the cylinder at high pressure at the same time. This means the gas impurity level is already lower before it is released from the cylinder. BIP® enables you to use argon, nitrogen and helium that are up to 300 times purer than normal cylinder gases - all featuring less than 10ppb oxygen and less than 20ppb moisture. BIP® gases have become the standard for analytical applications requiring ultra high purity gases, and also in high quality welding and laser cutting due to its low level of impurities.
