Alberdingk ® AC 2403 is an extremely hydrophobic unique waterborne acrylic dispersion for coating applications. Due to its superior water resistance and low water vapour transmission as well as oxygen barrier properties it is a preferred binder for anti-corrosion coatings. Besides for metal applications Alberdingk ® AC 2403 is always used where its hydrophobic properties are crucial for best coating performance: for stain locking primers on wood and MDF, for highly durable exterior coatings, for adhesion on critical non-polar substrates like PVC and PA. Due to its low minimum film forming temperature of 16 degrees C Alberdingk ® AC 2403 has a very low co-solvent demand. It is a preferred binder for low-VOC industrial coatings.
